What is Ultherapy Prime?
Ultherapy Prime delivers focused ultrasound to the deep SMAS and dermal layers to trigger new collagen, without cutting the skin. Most patients need one session, see lifting develop over 2–3 months, and return to normal activities the same day.
Ultherapy is a micro-focused ultrasound device made by Merz Aesthetics. Its applicator shows the skin layers on screen, so the doctor can place heat at a set depth (1.5, 3.0 or 4.5 mm). The heated points contract tissue and start a healing response that builds new collagen over the following months.
Ultherapy Prime is the current generation of the system. It keeps the same ultrasound principle but adds a sharper imaging display and faster delivery, which makes planning more precise and the session shorter.

Your treatment day
- Doctor consultation. We check skin thickness and laxity and decide the areas and shot count with you.
- Numbing. Numbing cream, or sleep sedation on eligible packages.
- Mapping and treatment. The doctor treats each layer while watching the ultrasound image.
- Shot count check. We show you the delivered shots on the device before you leave.
- Back to your day. Mild redness or tenderness usually settles within hours to a few days.
Aftercare
- Normal activity, make-up and work the same day
- Moisturise and use sunscreen every day
- Avoid saunas and other heat treatments for a few days
- Tell us about numbness or swelling that lasts more than a week
Possible side effects

How long does Ultherapy Prime last?
Collagen keeps building for up to 6 months after treatment, and results commonly last about a year or longer. Many patients repeat a maintenance session every 12 months.
How many Ultherapy shots do I need?
A jawline-only treatment needs fewer shots than full face and neck. The doctor sets the count at consultation after checking your skin thickness and laxity; most full-face plans fall between 300 and 600 shots.
Does Ultherapy Prime hurt?
You feel brief heat and pressure at the deeper levels. Prime delivers energy faster than older systems, and we use numbing cream or sleep sedation on eligible packages.
Can I get Ultherapy during a short trip to Seoul?
Yes. There is no downtime, so you can treat and travel the same day. Message us your dates and we will book the consultation and treatment in one visit.
Is the price the same for foreigners?
Yes. Korean and international patients pay the same published price. VAT of 10% is added at payment.
