What are under eye fillers?
Under eye fillers are small amounts of soft hyaluronic acid gel placed in the tear trough to smooth hollows that cast dark shadows. For thin or crepey skin, under-eye skin boosters such as Eye Rejuran are often a better first choice; under-eye treatments at our clinic start from ₩250,000.
The tear trough is the groove between the lower eyelid and the cheek. As we age, fat and bone support in this area reduce and the skin thins, so a hollow forms and catches shadow. A small amount of soft filler placed deep, on the bone, lifts the groove so light reflects evenly again. Because the skin here is thin, the product, depth and amount must be chosen carefully.
Not every dark under-eye is a hollow. Puffy bags from fat bulging can look worse with filler, and brown circles from pigment need laser or brightening care. When the main issue is thin, crepey skin, boosters such as Eye Rejuran, Ultracol or Re2O Fine strengthen the skin itself over a short course, with less risk of puffiness.

Your treatment day
- Doctor consultation. We check hollowing, bags and pigment under different lighting.
- Plan. We choose filler, a booster or a combination, and the amount.
- Numbing. Numbing cream for about 20 minutes.
- Treatment. Filler is placed with a fine cannula or needle; boosters with micro-injections.
- Review. We check symmetry and give you a cold pack and aftercare advice.
Aftercare
- Sleep with your head slightly raised for 1–2 nights
- Use a cold pack gently; do not rub or press the area
- Avoid saunas, alcohol and salty food for 1–2 days

Possible side effects
Swelling, bruising and tenderness are common for a few days. Filler placed too superficially can cause a bluish tint or lumpiness, and the area can hold fluid; rare risks include blocked blood vessels, which need urgent treatment.

Does it hurt?
With numbing cream and a fine cannula, most patients feel mild pressure. Boosters feel like a series of small pricks.
Can I travel after under-eye filler?
Yes, but bruising can take a few days to fade. We suggest treatment at least 3–4 days before an important event or flight.
What if I do not like the result?
Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, so the treatment is reversible.
