How is acne treated at a clinic?
Acne treatment at our clinic combines in-clinic procedures, such as medical extraction, chemical peels and light or laser therapy, with prescription skincare or medication when needed. Most patients see calmer skin within a few weeks, while marks and scars are treated once breakouts are controlled.
Acne starts when oil and dead cells block a pore, bacteria multiply inside it and the skin becomes inflamed. Hormones, stress, some cosmetics and genetics all play a part, which is why acne often returns when treatment stops. Treating acne well means reducing oil and blockage, calming inflammation and preventing new spots, not only clearing the ones you see.
After breakouts settle, many people, especially those who picked or squeezed spots, are left with red or brown marks and textured scars. Red and brown marks often fade with time, peels and laser toning. Depressed scars need collagen-building treatment such as microneedling or Fraxel.

Frequently asked questions
How long until my acne improves?
Most patients see calmer skin within 4–8 weeks of a consistent plan. Acne often needs ongoing maintenance, so we plan for the long term.
Can you treat acne scars at the same time?
We usually control active acne first, because treating scars on inflamed skin can make breakouts worse. Marks can be treated alongside once spots are calmer.
Do you prescribe isotretinoin?
Oral medication is considered case by case and requires follow-up and, for some patients, blood tests. For short visits we usually focus on in-clinic treatment and topical care.
Can I start acne treatment on a short trip?
Yes. An extraction and peel session has little downtime, and we give you a home-care plan and photo follow-up on Instagram after you fly home.
Is adult acne different?
Adult acne is often hormonal and sits along the jaw and chin. If it comes with irregular periods or excess hair, we advise a hormone check.
Is the price the same for foreigners?
Yes. Korean and international patients pay the same price, and an English-speaking coordinator helps with booking. VAT of 10% is added at payment.
